Professional oral hygiene
During professional oral hygiene, hard and soft tooth plaques are cleaned off, tooth stones are removed, teeth surfaces are polished, mineral and therapeutic applications are performed if necessary. The first visit shall evaluate the individual patient’s condition and indicate the required frequency of visits. For patients with gum disease – oral hygiene procedures should be performed regularly.
When performing professional oral hygiene:
- Hard and soft tooth plaque are cleaned off.
- Dental stones are removed.
- Pigmented stains are removed (stains resulting from using staining foods).
- Teeth surfaces are polished.
- If necessary, mineral and therapeutics applications are performed.
Professional oral hygiene for children
We provide professional oral hygiene for children. This procedure is simpler. Most children’s teeth are sprayed with glycine, cleaned with hand tools and polished with paste. After the procedures, children are also introduced to the correct oral care skills.
