X-ray
We perform the following X-ray tests in clinics: 3D computed tomography, dental, panoramic, lateral head radiograph, the functional radiograph of both jawbone joints.
3D computed tomography
3D computed tomography images allow precise planning of surgical procedures, evaluation of anatomical tissues in the area of the future implant and predicting the exact position of the implant in the bone, necessary for optimal implantation and denture prosthesis procedures, evaluation of bone condition around the teeth, periodontal pathology, diagnosis of root split, foreign bodies and internal resorption in teeth root channels.
Dental radiograph
A dental X-ray (radiograph) is the image of one or more tooth crowns and their roots, for diagnostic purposes or therapeutic application. This photo permits to determine root canal length, their location, tooth decay, bone pockets length.
Panoramic X-ray
Panoramic X-ray (radiograph), also known as orthopantomogram shows the total image of the upper and lower jaw and sinuses. This picture is important for the overall condition of the teeth and jaws assessment, planning and evaluating the treatment. Normally, oral panoramic x-ray is taken in order to make the treatment plan and evaluate the general condition of all the teeth including their roots; to plan the removal of wisdom teeth and impacted teeth; to plan the longer extent prosthodontic works; to assess the periodontal condition; to plan the implant surgery, and for orthodontic treatment.
Lateral head radiograph
Lateral head radiograph or cefalometric radiograph is taken in order to plan orthodontic treatment, while the both jawbone joints functional radiograph is performed in order to assess the temporomandibular joints.
