Orthodontic treatment
Orthodontic treatment allows you to straighten your teeth and correct almost all occlusion problems. There are no age limits for this treatment, but a previously observed occlusion developmental disorder may lead to more effective straightening.
Various measures are used to treat orthodontic treatment: transparent tooth straightening splints, metal and ceramic braces, plates of various structures, functional apparatuses, exterior stretching apparatuses, palate expansion apparatuses, retention apparatuses, orthodontic mini-implants, apparatuses for keeping a place for teeth (early loss of dairy teeth), apparatuses to help get rid of bad habits (lolling tongue out, finger sucking, breathing through the mouth).
The duration of orthodontic treatment depends on the patient’s age, the complexity of the initial dental condition, the medical devices used for treatment and the willingness of patients themselves and their cooperation with an orthodontist. The duration may be prolonged by failure to comply with the prescribed treatment regimen or missed visits, so a patient’s persistent and responsible approach to the dental straightening process is particularly important.
