Dental veneers

Dental veneers are ultra-thin, (0,3-0.5 mm thick) light-permeable porcelain shells that are bonded to the surface of a slightly polished tooth surface.

Veneers are commonly used for aesthetic purposes, such as restoring or renewing frayed, worn, or darkened teeth. Veneers can be used to adjust the colour and shape of the tooth, as well as to close the gaps between the teeth.

Porcelain adheres perfectly to the enamel. Veneers are well tolerated by the human body and have no tendency to accumulate food. They wear off less than fillings, are more durable and more aesthetic. It is a naturally-looking tooth restoration without changing the colour and losing shine.

While durable veneers are produced in the laboratory, temporary veneers may be applied to the patient. This will make it possible to experience whether the patient feels uncomfortable or comfortable.
